Configure how you want to work. Use this section to specify if you support remote proceedings, in-person proceedings, and how far you’re willing to travel for in-person jobs.
What You Can Do
- Support Remote Proceedings – Toggle whether you’re available for remote work (e.g. video/teleconference-based proceedings).
- Support In-Person Proceedings – Indicate if you accept in-person jobs.
- Travel Distance / Radius – If in-person is enabled, specify the maximum distance you’re willing to travel (in miles or kilometers) from your base address to take on a job.
How to Update Your Preferences
- Log into your account.
- Navigate to Account → Preferences or Settings → Preferences.
- Locate the section for Proceeding Types & Travel.
- Toggle Remote Proceedings ON/OFF.
- Toggle In-Person Proceedings ON/OFF.
- If In-Person is enabled, enter your Travel Radius (e.g. 25 miles / 40 km).
- Save your updates.
Why These Preferences Matter
- Help ensure that job assignments align with what you’re willing & able to do.
- Avoid assignments that are too far or impractical to accept.
- Improve scheduling efficiency for both you and your clients/manager.
- Increase satisfaction by matching jobs you want (remote or in-person) and avoid burnout from excessive travel.

If you enable both remote and in-person, you’ll receive a mix of jobs. If you disable in-person or set a small travel radius, you’ll only receive jobs within that limit or remote jobs.
