Signing in lands you on your dashboard, the first item in the navigation. It exists to answer one question in about ten seconds: is anything waiting on me, and what’s due?

Check it in this order

1

Read the banners across the top

Banners appear only when something about your account needs fixing — a document the agency has asked you for, or a professional credential that has expired or is close to it. You can’t dismiss them; they disappear when you deal with the underlying thing. Each banner has a button that drops you on the right queue.
2

Scan the Needs You band

The strip of chips below the numbers is your open work queues, with a count on each. Clicking a chip opens that queue filtered to just those items. When nothing is open the band reads “All caught up”.
3

Work down the lanes

The rest of the page is time-ordered, most urgent first — an Overdue lane where deadlines apply, then Today, Tomorrow and the rest of the week. If the top lane is empty you’re in good shape.
Nothing on this page submits work. Every banner, chip and row is a shortcut to the place that does.

Which lanes you get

The dashboard shows only the kinds of work the agency has enabled on your worker profile. Typists and editors get a transcription lane. Court reporters, videographers and interpreters get a proceedings lane. If you do both, a two-tab band sits under the greeting to switch between them. It opens on Transcription every time — the choice isn’t remembered between visits. If you do only one kind of work there’s no band at all, and the navigation hides the section you don’t use.

The transcription lane

The four numbers across the top are Active Jobs, Overdue, Due This Week and Earnings. Active Jobs counts every job you’ve accepted that is currently in Transcribing or Editing — including jobs where it isn’t your turn yet. An editor sees a job appear here while the typist is still working on it. Overdue turns red the moment it goes above zero. Due This Week runs through Sunday. The Needs You chips here are Overdue, Offers and Due soon. They open the transcription Action Required queue on the matching tab. Below that, the Due Queue splits your jobs into Overdue, Today, Tomorrow and This Week. On Saturday and Sunday that last lane switches to Next Week, because Today and Tomorrow already cover what’s left of the current week. An overdue row carries a 3D LATE marker so you can tell a job that slipped yesterday from one that slipped last week. Each row shows the case, its reference, and where the job sits relative to you:
  • Pending — it’s your turn.
  • Blocked — you’re the editor and the typist hasn’t handed off yet.
  • In Review — you’re the typist and the editor has it.
Click a row to open the job’s details without leaving the page. Working the job itself happens on the transcription pages.

The proceedings lane

The four numbers are Active, Today, This Week and Earnings. Active counts assignments you’ve accepted on jobs that haven’t finished — anything showing as Upcoming, In Session or Post Session. Today is sessions starting today, and This Week runs through Sunday. The Needs You chips are Offers, Confirmations, Worksheets and Orders, each opening the proceedings Action Required queue on that tab.

Your schedule

The Schedule panel lanes your depositions into Today, Tomorrow, This Week and Next Week. Only jobs with a session date land here — an assignment you’ve accepted on a job that’s still being scheduled won’t appear until the date is set, though it’s already counted in Active. A row leads with the job id and the session time, then the witness, then the case and where it’s happening. Today’s rows also carry a status badge, and a session running right now is marked live. Rows in the later lanes show no status, because “upcoming” is the only answer they could give. Times are in the deposition’s timezone, not yours, with the zone printed beside them — a 9:00am row on an out-of-state job means 9:00am there. Clicking a row opens the full schedule, the location and the witness, with an Open Details button through to the job; clicking the job id goes straight there.

Production

Under the schedule, the Production panel is a second due queue: the orders you owe after the deposition is over. Same four lanes — Overdue, Today, Tomorrow, This Week — showing the order id, the product, the case and the due date. Clicking a row opens that order so you can upload and submit. See Managing Orders for the work itself.

What the Earnings tile counts

Earnings is the total of your invoices dated in the current month, whether they’ve been paid or not. Drafts don’t count — an invoice you’re still building contributes nothing until the agency generates it — and voided invoices drop out. So it’s what you billed this month, not what landed in your account. For payment status, go to Getting Paid.

Keeping it current

The refresh icon at the top right re-pulls everything on the page at once. The Needs You counts also refresh on their own every three minutes while the tab is in front — if the tab is in the background, that pause holds until you come back to it, so a count can be a few minutes behind after switching windows.
If you’ve been marked unavailable for more than a couple of weeks, the dashboard asks once whether you’re ready for work again. Choosing “Still unavailable” hides it for a week; “Mark available” puts you back on the roster immediately. Either way you can change it any time from the availability control at the bottom of the navigation — see Availability.
