Using the Rev.ai Integration

Our system integrates with Rev.ai’s ASR API to automatically generate a first-draft transcript from audio or video files. The process runs on our Amazon EC2 instance, which formats the transcript into a Microsoft Word document for your team.

How to Use It

  1. When creating or configuring a transcription job, select the option “Generate First-Draft Transcript.”
  2. Assign a team member with editor flags enabled so they can access and refine the transcript.
  3. Once the draft is generated, it will be available in Word format and can be opened directly in the system.

Combining with the Transcript Editor

This feature can be paired with our web-based transcript editor, allowing editors to:
  • Play back audio and video while following along with the draft.
  • Use auto-rewind and marking functions to correct and polish the transcript.
  • Save significant time by starting with a machine-generated baseline instead of transcribing from scratch.
