Manager Role
Permissions- Cannot change app settings.
- Can edit jobs, view and generate reports.
- Can manage workers (editors & typists) and customers.
- Overseeing job assignments and progress.
- Managing workers by assigning jobs to typists and editors.
- Reviewing and finalizing jobs before they are delivered to customers.
- Handling customer relationships and ensuring their satisfaction.
Managers play a critical role in ensuring that jobs are completed on time and to the client’s satisfaction. They are involved in day-to-day operations but do not have access to system-wide settings.
Worker Roles
Typist Role
Permissions- Can only view and manage jobs assigned to them during the transcribing process.
- Can upload and download files related to their assigned jobs.
- Transcribing audio files into text during the transcribing stage.
- Uploading completed transcriptions for further processing.
Typists focus on converting audio into text accurately before passing the job to the next stage.
Editor Role
Permissions- Can only view and manage jobs assigned to them during the editing process.
- Can upload and download files related to their assigned jobs.
- Reviewing and refining transcriptions during the editing stage.
- Ensuring the accuracy and quality of the final transcript.
Editors polish transcriptions, correct errors, and ensure the final document meets quality standards before a manager review.
Customer Role
Permissions- Can only see their own jobs.
- Can download the completed transcript once the job has reached the complete stage.
- Reviewing the final delivered transcript.
- Providing feedback and requesting revisions if necessary.
Customers interact with the system to access completed transcripts. They are notified once a job is complete and available for download.
