Step 1 — Create Your Account
Register
Go to the Legalancer registration page and enter your email address. Review and accept the Terms of Service, then click Register.
Verify your email
Check your inbox for a verification email. Open it and click the confirmation link to activate your account.
Set your password
After verifying your email, you’ll be prompted to create a password for your account.
Step 2 — Set Up Your Account
Once your profile is complete, you’ll be taken into the app to finish setting up your account. This is a short guided flow that helps us tailor the experience to how you work.Select your services
Choose the services you plan to use:You can select one or both depending on your needs.
Transcription
Upload recordings and receive accurate transcripts for depositions, hearings, and other proceedings.
Court Reporting
Schedule proceedings and request certified court reporters, videographers, and interpreters.
Tell us about your organization
Select the option that best describes your organization — for example, law firm, government, non-profit, Pro Se, or other. The next few steps will be tailored based on your selection.
Complete setup
Answer a few short questions to help us configure your account. The specific steps vary depending on your organization type, but the flow is brief.
You're in
Once setup is complete, you’ll land on a final screen with options to get started based on the services you selected:
- Create a Transcription — Upload your first recording and submit a transcription job.
- Create a Proceeding — Schedule your first proceeding and request coverage.
- Explore — Browse the platform at your own pace.
You can update your profile details, services, and preferences at any time from Account Settings.
