Before committing to a transcription job, you can get a cost estimate upfront. There are two ways this works depending on how your account is set up.

Option A: Instant Estimate

As soon as the form has enough information to calculate the total audio length, the estimated cost appears on screen automatically.
1

Create new transcription

Begin filling in the details.
2

Select a turnaround time

Faster turnarounds affect the price — try different options to compare costs before committing.
3

Select your media files

The estimate updates automatically once the audio length can be calculated from your files. It is based on the total audio time uploaded — if you’re requesting excerpts, your final bill will reflect only the portions actually transcribed.
4

Review and submit

If the instant estimate looks right, proceed to submit.

Option B: Approval Required Estimate

Some jobs may require an estimate to be manually approved before work begins. If this applies to your job, we won’t start the job until the estimate has been approved. You’ll receive a notification when your estimate is ready. Open it in the app to approve or decline.

Approve

Your job moves forward and our team begins work. You’ll be notified when the transcript is ready.

Decline

The request won’t proceed. Our team may follow up to see if any adjustments would make it work, or the request will be closed.
