Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Add an extra layer of security to your account. Recommended.

What MFA Does

MFA requires you to provide a second method of verification (in addition to your password) when signing in from new devices or after suspicious activity.

How to Enable

  1. Log into your account.
  2. Navigate to Settings → Security → Multi-Factor Authentication.
  3. Choose your preferred second factor:
    • Authentication app (e.g. 1Password, Google Authenticator, Authy)
  4. Complete setup: verify your device or phone.
  5. Store backup/recovery codes in a safe place in case you lose access to your second factor.

Why It Matters

  • Helps protect you even if your password is compromised.
  • Reduces risk of unauthorized access from unknown devices.
  • Provides peace of mind with a stronger security posture.
