When submitting transcription requests that cover multiple proceedings, hearings, or witnesses, there are a few options to simplify your workflow.

Using the Create and Copy Details Option

In addition to the standard Create Job button, you can also use Create and Copy Details when submitting transcription requests. This option is designed to save time by reusing information from the current job setup. Instead of re-entering the same details multiple times, you can quickly generate a new transcription request with key fields already filled in.

When to Use

  • If you need to create several transcription requests with similar job details.
  • When handling multiple recordings from the same case, client, or proceeding.
  • To reduce repetitive data entry and speed up job creation.

How It Works

  1. Select Create and Copy Details instead of Create Job.
  2. A new job draft will be generated with details copied over from the previous setup.
  3. Update only the fields that are different (such as file uploads, witness name, or proceeding date).
  4. Submit the new job request.
This feature is especially useful for managing multiple transcription requests tied to the same matter while ensuring consistency across entries.

Uploading Multiple Files

If you are submitting multiple days of proceedings or multiple witnesses for the same case, you don’t need to create a separate job for each one. Instead:
  • Upload all related audio/video files together in the same request.
  • Or zip them into a single archive and upload that file.
Our team will split these into separate child jobs during processing. This ensures each proceeding or witness is tracked correctly without requiring you to repeat the job creation process.

Key Points

  • Use Create and Copy Details to quickly build similar transcription requests.
  • Upload all relevant files together instead of creating multiple jobs.
  • We will split submissions into child jobs so that each proceeding or witness is managed separately.
This workflow reduces repetitive data entry, improves consistency, and ensures jobs are handled efficiently.
