adds an extra layer of security to your account. It’s strongly recommended for all users. When enabled, you’ll be asked to verify your identity with a second factor when signing in from a new device or after suspicious activity is detected.

Enabling 2FA

1

Go to Security Settings

Navigate to Account Settings → Security → Two-Factor Authentication.
2

Choose your second factor

Select an authentication app as your second factor — compatible apps include 1Password, Google Authenticator, and Authy.
3

Complete setup

Follow the on-screen steps to link your authentication app and verify the connection.
4

Save your backup codes

Store your recovery codes somewhere safe. You’ll need them to regain access if you ever lose your authentication device.

If you lose access to your authentication app and don’t have your recovery codes, you may be locked out of your account. Keep your backup codes in a secure location.
