Go to Security in your profile and use Change Password. You’ll need your current password — this is not a route back in if you’ve forgotten it. Passwords must be 6–250 characters with at least one number, one lowercase letter, and one uppercase letter. A special character is not required. The strength meter in the window shows what’s still missing as you type.

Saving signs you out everywhere else

The moment your new password saves, every other session on every other device is signed out; only the session you changed it from stays in. This is what locks out anyone else who had your password. No confirmation email is sent.

If you cannot sign in

Use “Forgot password?” on the sign-in screen. The reset link is emailed to your account address and is good for twenty-four hours. Completing it signs out every session, and it does not switch off two-factor authentication.
