Account Sharing lets a colleague work on your behalf with their own login — a paralegal covering for an attorney, a billing clerk seeing your invoices. Find it under Security in your profile: Shared by You is what you’ve given out, Shared with You is what you’ve been given. Every share carries one or both access types. Jobs lets them view and submit jobs for you — anything they submit belongs to your account and bills to you. Billing is read-only visibility of your invoices. At least one is required.

Sharing your account

Click Add on the Shared by You card, enter a name and email address, and tick the access to give. The email address is what access is matched on, so it must be the address the person signs in with. There’s no user picker to catch a typo — a wrong address quietly grants nothing. The upside of matching on email: you can share with someone who has no account yet, and the access takes effect when they first sign in with that address. The form refuses your own address and any address you’ve already shared with — change an existing person’s access on their row instead.

Changing or ending access

The Jobs and Billing checkboxes on the table save as you click them. Unticking the last one is refused; to end access entirely, use the red delete button on the row. That removes access on the spot, with no confirmation and no undo.

Access others have given you

The first time you sign in after someone shares with you, a window walks you through each new share and offers to share your account back — declining costs you nothing. You can also share back later with the button on their row. Remove access on a row gives up what they gave you. Once you confirm, only they can restore it.

What shared access changes

Job and invoice lists gain a column naming which account each row belongs to (User on jobs, Recipient on invoices). With Jobs access, the create drawer gains a required Submit On Behalf Of field. Check it before you submit — the job belongs to whoever is selected. It also covers accounts with no service of their own: if you can’t order a service directly, You is greyed out and you submit on behalf of someone who can. That’s the supported setup for an assistant-only account. With Billing access, their invoices appear in your Accounting alongside your own, and you can pay them there.
